Cadek invites current Cadek music students to apply for the 2025-26 academic year scholarships.
- The scholarship audition form opens on Monday, April 7 at 8:30am for students applying for Continued Merit scholarships. Students who auditioned for a Continued Merit Scholarship in the 2023/2024 school year are the only students eligible for these types of scholarships. Beginning Wednesday, April 9, auditions will be open to all scholarship types until we reach 40 total participants.
- Incentive Award applicants may submit their applications on Wednesday, April 9 at 8:30am. Please do not submit your application prior to April 9 at 8:30am, as they will be erased and not counted. We will accept Incentive Award applicants until we reach 40 total participants or until Friday, April 11 (whichever comes first).
Once your application has been received, you will receive an scholarship upload form from the Cadek Director within 48 hours.
Updated Guidelines
Over the course of the past year, Cadek has worked closely with instructors, judges, and others in the music field to update scholarship tiers. These updated tiers will award students based on technical skill and ability. It is our goal to direct students and instructors toward finding success and learning through the scholarship audition process.
Scholarship awards and judging feedback will be provided across six divisions, ranging from late beginner to advanced-level students:
-
Primer
-
Minuet
-
Sonatina
-
Sonata
-
Concerto
A student’s instructor will advise the student on the most appropriate level of scholarship division.
Applicants must perform the number of pieces listed on the scholarship information packet based on their category. Auditions are not to exceed 10 minutes of performance time.
